By the way. Irish circuses don’t have animals. They are recognised by @UNESCO and the @artscouncil_ie as worthy of support. You can get to the circus 🤡 🎪 for €12! Cheapest ticket to @OfficialSting in @Fingalcoco Malahide was €80!
Tom Duffy – The Greatest Showman
It is with great sadness and regret that the Duffy family announce the peaceful passing of Tom Duffy, Our Greatest Showman.
Born on April 5th, 1929, in Limavady, Northern Ireland, in his parent’s caravan, Tom was fifth born of eight siblings.
Irish Traditional Travelling Circus and Funfair have now been officially recognised as an intangible cultural heritage in Ireland. A proud moment for the Duffy family and generations of Irish Showpeople. https://t.co/iR3qGBiVgP
Huge congratulations to Gerry on getting the 2nd award in the Arts and Entertainment section of the PPAI awards, with a stunning pic of the Flying Zuniga. @gerrymooneydub @PPAI_IRL @artscouncil_ie@joeliveline
Had an amazing night at @duffyscircus in Ennis. Breathtaking performances kept us all totally captivated. The red spinning wheels at the end were out of this world. I haven’t been to the circus for 35 years, so glad I went to this one!
We are coming to Belfast NEXT MONTH. Hillview Retail Park from Thursday 16 - Sunday 19 June. BOOK NOW at https://t.co/xYJA65NVro #circus#thegreatestshow#belfast#amazing
