Every mega event is the same event. Madonna super bowl 2012, Chris Martin 2016, Shakira 2020, Tom Cruise paris olympics, yesterday all four at the world cup final. can't remember the last time a mega event show felt like actual art. probably beijing 2008 opening ceremony which had those yellowmen drumming with surgical, borderline inhuman precision.
