Andrew has been exiled to a mansion and lost a couple of silly titles. That isn't justice. March to Buckingham Palace with us on Republic Day, May 9th. Enough is enough. #AbolishTheMonarchy#Epstein#RepublicDay
A German Shepherd has died after he was found underweight with a muzzle 'permanently taped' to its face.
Owner Joanne Falconer, 58, has now been banned from having pets after dog Sparrow had to be put down following an inspection by the animal welfare charity RSPCA.
Charity officials discovered the underweight pooch at Falconer's home in South Shields, South Tyneside, last July.
Sparrow has a muzzle stuck on with duct tape around the nose and brown parcel tape around the back of his head.
It was only removed when he was fed, South Tyneside Magistrates' court heard.
On October 28, 2025, Falconer, of Millais Gardens, pleaded guilty to two animal welfare abuse charges relating to Sparrow and two severely dehydrated kittens, Alpha and Beta, which were also found at her home and had to be put on an IV drip.
A German Shepherd named Sparrow was found with a plastic muzzle permanently taped to his head using silver gaffer tape and brown parcel tape and had to be put to sleep.
His owner, Joanne Falconer, 58, from South Shields, kept the muzzle on 24/7 only removing it four times a day for feeding.
The underweight dog, already suffering severe skin disease and infection, couldn’t scratch, eat or drink properly and was in constant distress.
RSPCA inspectors discovered him in this state last July. He was later put down.
Falconer pleaded guilty to animal welfare offences. She was fined £300, ordered to pay costs and banned from keeping animals for five years.
Two cats were also removed due to dehydration and flee infestations.
Critics argue that she got away with a £300 fine when she should have faced jail!!
Trying so hard to get Sonny a home.
Unfortunately he cannot travel as he hates small spaces like a crate. So unless someone has a private jet internationally he needs a good home in Thailand.
A total gentleman of a dog. We'll keep trying everything
Please retweet, more dogs and puppies dumped in #Birmingham today!! #UK
Why isn't this pet crisis in the media? 💔💔💔
Today has been one of those days that truly highlights the scale of the welfare challenges we are currently facing across the West Midlands.
This morning, not one but seven Mali X puppies were found dumped in a box and brought into our care. Alongside them came a three-legged Staffie Cross who is painfully thin, with cuts to his face and fear written all over him, and a small terrier who arrived badly matted, dirty and passing blood in his urine.
All of these dogs came through our doors today.
Each of them will have their own story and their own experiences that have led them here, but what they all share is the urgent need for safety, compassion and immediate support. As soon as they arrived, our team carefully assessed them, administered the first aid they required, and ensured they had everything they needed in those crucial first hours, warm beds, fresh water, nourishing food and, just as importantly, gentle reassurance to help them begin to feel secure.
Days like this are emotionally heavy, but they also shine a light on the extraordinary dedication of our staff who respond without hesitation, always placing the dogs’ welfare at the centre of everything they do. We are incredibly proud of the calm professionalism, resilience and kindness shown by our team when faced with situations like this, and of the steady, often unseen work that goes into helping each dog start their recovery journey.
To every dog who arrived with us today, you are safe now, and we will do everything in our power to give you the care, stability and future you deserve.
If you would like to support the ongoing care of dogs like these, your donations and shares make a genuine difference, particularly at a time when the number of complex welfare cases continues to increase.

An outdated and undemocratic institution, built on nepotism and privilege, that dodges the transparency that should be required of all those in power.
Abolish the monarchy.

Peering out the gates in winter’s chill
Behind the wired doors they wait there still
So many good hearts in one small place
Each dog watching with hope upon their face
Hope that they’ll be noticed
Maybe taken for a walk..
Or even better yet,
On the happy bus they’ll board!
Please retweet to help rase donations and find a home for Sally, abandoned Dec 2025 #SUSSEX#UK
AGED 14 💔💔💔
Sally arrived with us today after a long drive with 4 of the other dogs she had lived with. She is extremely thin, believed 12 - 14 yrs old, has an ear infection, skin infection, dreadful teeth struggling to eat and an eye problem to boot. She had a lovely hot bath and after a good dry off settled indoors with the oldies shelter pack!! I say it over and over ... dogs are incredible!!! She is sharing beds, settling well, has definitely got separation anxiety but who can blame her after being abandoned at her age and in this condition!!
More tomorrow as she is off to our vet to get on top of her most pressing problems

⚠️ URGENT – SHE JUST BECAME AVAILABLE TODAY & SHE IS COMPLETELY ALONE ⚠️
This baby girl is only 1yr old & today should have been the day someone came for her. But the truth is… no one has.
Not one visitor. Not one hold.
Not one person asking about her 😭
She is lying on that cold floor, trembling, watching every person walk past her kennel. Her eyes are full of confusion & fear & she doesn’t understand why she is here, why her family never looked for her, why the world suddenly became so small and so loud 😔
#GermanShepherds do not do well in shelters. Stress builds fast. Fear builds faster & it becomes a death sentence!
And right now, she has NO time and NO safety unless someone steps up.
She is sweet, young & absolutely heart-melting 🥺She deserves a warm home, a gentle hand, a chance to be loved, not to disappear behind shelter walls.
💔 Please, someone, give her a lifeline.

Very urgent, please retweet to help Daisy find a RESCUE SHELTER SPACE #UK Transport can be arranged
UPDATE 11TH NOVEMBER, DAISY HAS NOW BEEN MOVED ONTO THE LIST TO BE PUT TO SLEEP EP IMMINENTLY - could be today Wed 11 Nov💔
Daisy is a small dog, not even 30 kilos, although she looks larger from her videos! see facebook link below
The council pound say she is believe she is a small Staffie Bulldog mix.
She has piercing blue eyes.
Her back story is unknown. We do know that she was heavily sprayed and poled though by the Police when she was brought in to the kennels
They think she may be partially deaf too.
She has allowed kennel staff to bath her and has been absolutely brilliant with all of them but does have an obvious dislike or possibly fear of men. This may be due to how she was handled prior to arrival sadly.
She is described as being polite around dogs in so far as she will walk past them but gets easily excited too and doesn't know how to react sometimes.
If any rescue has space please contact Gill Henderson below asap
Currently in England but could be transported for the right placement.

HMRC will send 17 letters, 4 texts, a carrier pigeon and the Mexican cartel to chase Dave from Manchester for underpaying £3.76 in tax.
But a firm linked to Michelle Mone can owe £39m (on top of the £122m already owed) can swan off to Miami and live their best lives with zero criminal liability.....
One rule for the rich and another for the poor.
