Monitoring them as if they were a harm on campus, and expecting so little of them they don’t bother to provide academic aid.

The NCAA making so many restrictions and penalties for 4-4 transfers shows the very little interest that they have over students academics. Above the sport and scholarships, a students academic interest and well being is much more important. @besavageee #ucr150

@TeresaOro007 @besavageee I believe incoming student athletes need a seminar on the NLI, it’s a life changing contract, and many sign in the moment without realizing if the entire school or department is a fit for them. The NLI plays a huge role in affecting athletes academics #ucr150 @besavageee

Staurowsky points out how binding the NLI is, because coaches may move and the coach who wanted you and the new coach in place might not see eye to eye, and athletes spot on the field may be truly jeopardized. Students are moved like chess pieces #ucr150 @besavageee
