Crazy—we took a quick look at our platform data to see if it supported how it "feels" out there. 2024 is on trend for the lowest programs against "new drug targets" in ~30 years. This kind of risk aversion very bad for future patients, especially with so much strong new omics-driven evidence and broadly rising drugability.
The May cover illustrates that a peptide identified via screening aids the delivery of CRISPR ribonucleoprotein into cells, increasing the yield of edited primary human lymphocytes.
