@cmac2405 @PastorKirkland The Reds have done this for years. Always had one when I was on staff in the area. Chaplains are provided through a group called “Baseball Chapel” and each team has a designated chaplain from the organization.

Fun fact about Jim Harbaugh:

Harbaugh once told his Michigan players & staff that if any of them were ever dealing with an unplanned pregnancy, he and his wife would take the baby.

"I've told [them] the same thing I tell my kids, boys, the girls, same thing I tell our players, our staff members," Harbaugh said to ESPN.

"I encourage them if they have a pregnancy that wasn't planned, to go through with it, go through with it."

"Let that unborn child be born, and if at that time, you don't feel like you can care for it, you don't have the means or the wherewithal, then Sarah and I will take that baby."

@BEP_547 @savedavenger @BadSermons Out of simple curiosity, who was your preacher as a kid and what group would he align with? My dad was my pastor. He was IFB and angry about it for a while. He is still IFB, just not even close to being angry anymore. Grandkids will do it to you I guess. 🤷‍♂️

@Nati_Sports He is a friend of mine and this was the day baseball made me cry. The reason he was fired caused me to have so much more respect for him as a human. They wanted to fire Brook Jacoby and he said it was a bad move. He fell on the sword to save his friends job. That’s loyalty!
