Leonard Ravenhill once wrote, "The only reason we don't have revival is because we are willing to live without it." Whether or not you'd phrase it exactly that way, here's the challenge worth taking to heart: Be unwilling to settle for spiritual complacency.
We often hesitate to place our plans, our future, or the people we love into God’s hands because we fear what might happen. But whatever is entrusted to Christ is never outside His care. What we cling to is never truly secure, and what we surrender to Him is never truly lost.

The gospel offends every kind of pride.
The wise—because it demands faith, not argument.
The great—because it humbles all.
The rich—because it's free.
The happy—because it disrupts their joy.
The Son of God came to save sinners.
Are you ashamed?
(Romans 1:16)

The will of God isn’t a threat to your happiness—it’s the only sure path to it. If we would be happy, God’s will must be our will. “In your presence there is fullness of joy…” (Psalm 16:11)
The greatest commodity is not gold, silver, or oil. It is the wisdom of God! Proverbs 8:11 - "For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her."
