I know it’s become pretty cliche and cringey to talk about at this point but if you’re under like 25 I cannot stress enough how one time Obama wore a tan suit and people spent a week arguing over whether or not it was demeaning to the Oval Office and they were serious about it.
Here’s the Stephen A. Smith playbook on dealing with Black male athletes in his crosshairs:
1.He says something slick about your character and couches it in sports.
2. He threatens to attack you with his reach via ESPN if you respond.
3. He pulls in other Black men, normally former athletes with “credibility,” that he helped secure a job at ESPN via First Take, to join him in attacking said person.
4. If public opinion sways against him, he gaslights the audience by making it seem like he always supported the person he disrespected, cherry-picking moments when he had positive things to say about indisputable truths.
I’ve seen him run this play before and he will run it again.
@GeorgeFoster72 Guys in previous eras grew up playing outside in the heat on asphalt. Bron had to keep coming out of the game because the AC wasn't working on San Antonio. These guys got rides to the gym and played on hardwood their whole lives. It's just different.

We will deal with the infrastructure of the United States and its partners in the Arabian Gulf in a way that will deprive them of the region’s oil and gas for years.” — Iranian Revolutionary Guard
Dear Americans,
Iran does not have the missile range to strike your country;
if an attack occurs, it would most likely be carried out by your own GOVERNMENT or ISRAEL.
I don't think a lot of people commenting on this realize how bad it used to be. He's come a very long way from his days at the University of Cincinnati and his early years in the NBA. I'm telling you. I totally understand why he's so sensitive about this. I remember.
@BrandenLSK Sports talk radio used to actually promote going to Cheetah after the game. If I'm not mistaken (it's been a long time), you used to get in free with your ticket stub.
@stanverrett Not to blame Kornet or say whether he should’ve broadcasted his feelings or not, but that game comes and goes and is forgotten about by Wednesday, without that letter.
I hope you aren’t drunk and took your staff’s advice, Rashida and I don’t know this man and feel confident he didn’t care about us. Please restrain from drinking too much as you have been warned from your staff and stay off social media when you are drunk. I pray in his holy month you find peace and respect for your self,
This store in Puerto Vallarta was vandalized by the Cartel and Americans there on vacation decide to loot them and then lie when they’re being recorded and say they told us to take whatever we want for free! How freaking embarrassing! 🤬
