@Uber Your lost item flow doesn’t work. Driver has the item but notifications to arrange return take you to the homepage of the app. Support emails give instructions that lead nowhere.
Support said to reply to the thread, then closed the thread so we can’t reply.
RIP headphones
@anikaseibezeder@AmatoApp I would apologise in the vein of “I’m sorry the app didn’t provide the functionality you expected” and direct them to Apple for a refund. For a public reply, I would reference the free trial.
FWIW, first time I’ve heard of Amato and I don’t feel the description is misleading.
@jacobs_handle @art_garzajr What makes you think that?
The write barrier should prevent concurrent mutation.
(Having said that, I probably wouldn’t write this code unless I had reason to believe a serial queue would be a serious bottleneck).
@liveatleedsfest If we bought the VIP upgrade, can we go to straight to The Wardrobe and just show our general + upgrade codes to get the right wristband?
@NickJuness @bgrahamdisciple High standards are the one thing the software industry does not have (after all, they let me in)!
Gatekeeping is a massive problem, but it isn’t because we only accept excellent work…
Hot take, if your code looks especially noteworthy in a few screenshots, it’s probably too clever, and not ideal as part of a large team or a large-scale, high-stakes service
@steipete@rjonesy Worth noting that opening an in-app browser is a choice of the app: the Twitter app could tell the system to open that link in the default browser.
@anikaseibezeder The SwiftUI App Lifecycle has weird limitations and quirks. Even if you're going full-SwiftUI, I'd build on a traditional lifestyle and embed the SwiftUI.
@Jeehut What's your solution to a NavigationView that opens with the detail view showing (without a weird transition animation showing on launch)?
What about sidebar-style (i.e. iPad) view with one of the options pre-selected (and indicated correctly in the sidebar)?
@the_dreamsmp It refers to "User Submissions", which are "Anything you post, upload, share, store, or otherwise provide through the Services".
IANAL, so I can't definitively interpret that for you, but…seems like it _could_ include avatar and nick.
@jgstew @HilliTech @marcoarment Yup, I’ve seen “Build and Run” take >10 minutes to launch (with a relatively small app) when both phone and watch are connected wirelessly.
Breakpoints are unusably slow, on the rare occasions they work at all.
