@TahoeWeather@US_Stormwatch Other than the hyperbole as we’ve had winters back to the ‘60s with more snow and worse blizzard conditions, do you have any real storm data as in snowfall amounts for various locations? Any why would folks do a tour in this weather?
@US_Stormwatch What did LA end up with at the end of last year’s water year? The significance of the slow start last year is it contributed to those devastating fires, but all this rain will help build fuel for more fires later this year? Ironic.
@ggweather But who makes the official NWS forecast and/or the local news media forecasts decisions. There’s obvious cherry picking and bias towards the sensational. Is this science or click bait?
9:15 am. An example of how narrow and focused an Atmospheric River can be. Over the past 6 hours SF and Oakland have both had on the order of 1.50', while (normally very wet) Kentfield has had less than 1/2" and San Jose has had zero!
