It seems holes also happen in cores. This is one such case and, honestly, if it wasn’t for that focus that I didn’t like, I don’t know that I would have necessarily asked for deeper levels. My struggle with inertia is daily, and I often lose.

Going back to that focus, I think it’s atypical albeit marred by the eternal apocrine conundrum, as one can gather from the wide range of responses, from apocrine metaplasia to UDH with apocrine cytology to CCH to atypical hyperplasia to DCIS.

After examining the deeper levels, I pulled the trigger on DCIS. It is ER positive, if that helps.
