A fervent and urgent appeal is directed to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA @HMOIndia) to revoke its deeply troubling decision to sanction the "𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇" initiative, a euphemistic guise for the majoritarian #Meitei Community's brazen attempt to exert its oppressive dominance over the resilient and besieged minority #Kuki Community.

The #Kukis categorically reject their portrayal as mere pawns in a cynical game of power politics and oppression. We refuse to be reduced to mere spectators in the face of unbridled aggression, our voices silenced, and our dignity trampled upon by the #Meiteis and their patronage.

Instead, the #Kukis demand to be treated with the dignity, respect, and deference deserving of our constitutionally enshrined and democratically safeguarded rights. We insist on being regarded as equals, worthy of the same protections and guarantees afforded to all Citizens.

Any further attempts to impose a draconian and undemocratic form of peace in #Kukiland will be met with fierce, unyielding, and uncompromising resistance and defiance. The #Kukis will not be cowed, intimidated, or coerced into submission by the specter of aggression and bloodshed.

Manipur: Where is the leader of the Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS)? This Meitei civil society organization organized today’s “March to Hills” rally, yet not a single FOCS member was present on the bus—only personnel from the Central forces were visible.

This glaring absence is a clear provocation aimed at the tribal Kuki community, disguised as a push for a "Free Movement." Let it be known that the Kuki has not obstructed the movement of Central forces throughout the past 22 months of violence; they have simply defended their territory against #Meitei intrusions into Kuki-dominated areas.

It is crucial to respect the sanctity of the #BufferZone as an immediate measure before any meaningful political resolution can be pursued.
