@BriannaWu Back in the 70s and 80s the prevelance of transexuals was around 1/10,000 and hasn't dropped since. The whole "social contagion" theory has yet to be scientificly tested so it has no proven validity. As for the 8% prevelence stat, how was the question framed?

@BrainsinNo I call BS too. Transistioned in '72 with not even 2 bucks to my name. Got hormones, went back to college, got a good union job and insurance that paid for surgery. Pass because I transistioned young and took passing seriously, lived modestly, retired at 55 and now a millionaire.
