Most "anti-counterfeit" technology in India is theater.

A hologram a Class 8 kid in Sadar Bazaar can replicate for ₹3 each. A serial number a Photoshop intern can clone in five minutes. A "blockchain" certificate nobody scans because the QR points to a page that looks like spam

The counterfeit industry in India is sophisticated, organized, and decades old. The brands fighting it use 2007 tools.

What actually works is boring: cryptographically unique codes that can't be guessed or cloned, paired with a verification page that feels safe to a 55-year-old

Why this works: The opening contradiction stops the scroll, and naming the product only after the why has landed means it reads as the answer to a problem, not a pitch.
