David Cronenberg on Christopher Nolan:

@mikeymcelwee @MuseZack He was different even in the Lost World novel: in the Jurassic Park group, he was supposed to be dead. In the sequel, the "doctors did a good job" and he's still alive but apparently his past experience changed him. It is never explained, but you get the sense that happened.

@HarryHa42285349 @NicholeDelly Ever seen an IMAX camera? It's massive and so is the magazine: 3 minutes (Damon is wrong, it lasts a little longer) is the max they can do. Film is always limited by the fact it is a physical format one way or the other.

@NicholeDelly @HarryHa42285349 It's actually 65mm, like regular 70mm. The negative spinning in the camera is always 65mm - the prints (whenever they exist, IMAX or not) are 70mm because you need another 5mm for the sound tracks, unlike 35mm (which always stays the same size).

@project_umb Ironically, all the extra Wesker bits from X were not part of the original scenario. The unseen Wesker scenes were all about him being on his sub (first sinking Chris' ship with torpedoes around Rockfort Island, then escaping the Antartica base on it as it blew up).

@cvxfreak It is actually the best OST the series ever got, an evolution of what was done on RE2. Certain tracks, like “The Hanged Doll” or “The Code is Veronica” simply stick with you.
