As predicted, Govt managed to get Public Examination Amendment Bill introduced amidst chaos & protests in the House. Several MPs had given their names to oppose introduction of Bill (which they have a right to). Speaker quickly went through their names as a formality and the Bill was introduced.

Then at 12.06pm, Speaker said that MPs have till 1pm only to move amendments, if any. Why even this much time was given?

House was adjourned till 2pm and it remains to be seen whether Govt will push this Bill through without debate, amid chaos and protests or the House will actually have a debate?
