@RobGMacfarlane @mrmarkporter is an ethnimusicologist who recently wrote a book on music, faith and ecological crisis - I'd guess that rivers might have come into his research?
@creativelies@BlondeHistorian I've done something similar - two of us wheelchair users waiting in the nearly-snow, I got on, transferred to a regular seat, then took my chair apart and passed the bits up to the luggage rack, so the powerchair user could have the spot. Too cold to wait 20mins for the next bus!
@BlondeHistorian Dat. Dat all gone. No no no no. Mum! Dat! Gone.
We're in a season of Hat Refusal here too, and the casual dropping of hats out of the buggy.
@DorindaDorinda@annalandre@TfL In Brighton, if the wheelchair space is already taken by another wheelchair user, you can ring the depot and they will send a black cab on their payment account. Because it's direct to your destination you end up not losing out compared to the time the bus would've taken.
@PennyCE27 Ours goes, and this week she learnt that hurtling off edges onto a sprung floor is bouncy and fun. Sadly the rectory doesn't have a sprung floor.
@LenniCoffey Cardboard, white paper, tins and plastics, glass, sanitary waste, food, garden, batteries, and a black bag for the rest. Yes, we have to take the film to the supermarket and fabric and shoes to the end of the road, but Wales is the 3rd best in the world at recycling. Feels good.
@danremps Jacob wrestles with the angel and acquires a mobility impairment, but Moses claims his speech impediment is a reason why he can't lead and God brings Aaron in as a reasonable adjustment so he can.
@PennyCE27 In Wales we have specific extra places for curates on governing body because their perspective is needed. You might find you're not voted onto GS because you're less well known - worth a try though!
@BarryLibrary There's the first Ti a Fi of term scheduled from 11.15-12.15 - if the weather stays this lovely we could all go to the park for it instead. Are you in touch with Rhiannon about the closure?
@BlondeHistorian Similar age to Little One, ours currently loves a 1 litre green plastic bottle, any fabric bag strap, and today spent a while with a balled up pair of yesterday's socks.
