@JaeggiAdrian @lyoun03@fierysynapses@STsoory@RealAdamHunt Had shown previously that OT plasma levels correlate with extroverted personalities in neurotypicals - Andari et al 2012 - nothing new on my end regarding OT and neurotypicals traits - but might have sthg new on OT in ASD - will keep you posted
@JaeggiAdrian @lyoun03@fierysynapses@STsoory@RealAdamHunt In the Emory sample of 40 participants with ASD (adults), I found lower levels of salivary oxytocin compared to neurotypicals - in line with what I found earlier in a French sample in Andari et al 2010- and in line with your meta-analysis @jaeggiAdrian -
@Constantinatheo @AmelieBorie Thank you @AmelieBorie & @Constantinatheo! I am very proud of this chapter - it was a great pleasure working with you both!

My PhD advisor was a very strong talented woman Angela Sirigu and we published together a quite influential paper with more than 900 citations. When I was in Lyon France and deciding which lab to join in 2007, her lab was one of the most successful and known lab in the area!
I have worked with amazing female mentors, @LisaMonteggia and @DulacLab. Checked today and was delighted to see that two of my papers with @LisaMonteggia have over 1000 citations.
And she is now the director of the institute of research in Lyon! When she is in a conference everyone wonders about her talented questions and ideas :) I have known or heard of so many great women scientists .. it’s really about the quality of science we do!
