We need to efficiently use loudness.
Empty barrels make the loudest noise yeah but we aren’t barrels are we????????
We are empty cause of lack of knowledge but we make a lot of noise either way.
We need good noise….
Put out knowledge LOUDLY.
@SouthSideGAClay@TwinOfTiger Bc some men believe their S/O’s happiness lies in what he can/has provided. That she’s not happy invokes confusion, anger, fear even bc why not. Truth is, if a person is not happy with and within themselves, there is nothing an SO can do aside from be supportive.
I have a deep respect for people's privacy. I can be very close to someone for years and still not know everything about them, and I never feel the need to ask. And It's not like I don't care. I believe that if someone hasn't chosen to share something, it isn't my place to ask!!
Please Help🙏🏽

Good evening @Brightgoldenboy
It has been 181 days since you said the violence that women faced during the occurrence of the Ozoro festival was being investigated and there were 16 suspects in custody.
It has been 131 days since you said you were waiting for DPP legal advice.
Hii everyone, a closed mouth is a closed destiny so I’m here again to attempt to sell myself.
My name is Ene, and I have extensive and highly profitable skills and experience in administration, writing, and community management.
I unfortunately cannot apply to regular jobs because I didn’t finish school, but if you know any organizations that value work ethics and professional skills over degrees, please send the opportunities my way.
I lost my previous job cause the employers didn’t want to put up with the new tax laws so they pulled out of Nigeria entirely.
Also if you own a business in Abuja and you’re looking for an onsite manager or secretary, please look here.
I promise I’m a very great staff. Please help me. Please🥹

Haha 😆 I don’t view it as boasting, really. If it counts as such and isn’t stolen, then go ahead. As I often note, we have allowed loud and illegitimate individuals who aren’t truly wealthy to dominate discussions about money.
My school fees is 459k, I’ve paid only 50k, and my Pre-Council exam starts Sept 22nd.
If 200 people can send me 1k, that’s
200k it will bring me much closer to my goal and help me clear a good part of my school fees.
Any amount helps. Please help RT 🙏😭
The day I argued that the marital home should be conceptualised as a domestic space belonging to both spouses, instead of “the man’s house,” I was heavily criticised.
This is precisely why language matters. Language does more than describe social relations; it can also reproduce underlying assumptions about ownership, authority, belonging, and power.
When a marital home is persistently framed as “the man’s house,” such language can position the husband as the primary owner while rendering the wife’s place within that home IMPLICITLY CONDITIONAL. In moments of conflict, that underlying hierarchy can become explicit: “our home” becomes “my house,” and “my house” becomes “pack your things and leave.”
My concern, therefore, is not limited to semantics. It concerns the wider gendered assumptions embedded in the language we normalise and the ways such assumptions can shape expectations of power, belonging, and security within marriage.
This is Jazeel a 6 year old with three holes in his heart.
His mother sent his picture to me, see blood in his eyes, I cried when I saw the picture, because I've witnessed a scenario where this boy had a seizure 😭 I cried that day.
Read my chat with his mum this morning they need 8M for surgery. This is one of those times I really wished God blesses me the way I want 😭

Hi everyone, it’s the last term of the year, and we’re raising exam fees for the kids at Elelenwo nursery, pry & Sec school, PHC
Exam fees are 3k per child, and you can contribute for 1 child, or even half of a child’s fees. Thank you so much for keeping my kids in school 🙏
When Africans jump into the 400 years of slavery US conversation, I remind them that there are black Africans being traded as slaves today in a few North African countries by Arabs (and fellow black Africans). Not because the other conversation is not important, but because fewer people care when the victims have no cultural power and visibility. Because the victims are mostly poor Africans trying to find a better life and don't have the advantage of coming from a country with imperial power, their story is told in footnotes.
I did a project some years ago telling the story of migrants who attempt the journey from many parts of Africa through the deserts of the Sahel and North Africa and on the seas to Europe, doing this through WhatsApp messages sent by the migrants as they make their journey. To prepare for this I read many actual messages and stories of those who braved death in deserts, through mountainous regions and on the deadly seas in vessels that were less than seaworthy. I read stories of forced labour in camps in north Africa, summary executions of the weak and sick (or those who tried to escape bondage), sexual abuse of (most) of the women, and slave camps where people are sold like cattle. There are many national and international agencies who try to stop this slavery and human trafficking but unfortunately this is a thing that keeps happening on an alarming scale.
There are agents on the black African side and the Arab side who make this despicable trade in humans keep happening. A few of those black Africans who were once traded themselves manage to buy themselves out and some become agents to these slave traders and human traffickers.
A couple of writers argue against using the term slavery to describe what is going on in North Africa. They have called it debt bondage, ransom trafficking, and forced labor (tied to smuggling debts) among other terms. For me this framing dispute is not worth my time and helps no one in tackling the real issue. It looks like slavery, sounds like slavery, acts like slavery. It is slavery. And it is a damn shame how little attention it gets and how little political will there is to end this practice.
My only fault with this video is the use of "give."
You don't "give" babies to men or have babies "for" men.
You have babies WITH men. Language is political.
Part of fighting patriarchy is fighting the idea that men are inherently bad. If men are inherently bad what’s the point of critiquing and challenging misogyny, toxic masculinity, weaponised incompetence, incel culture etc
in light of this conversation, i want young women to know that nothing you do will ever justify someone abusing you. please don't listen to these freaks. you're still entitled to humanity, respect, and dignity. i'd still care if someone mistreats you btw
