@mainemonitor @aropeik In Michigan, we've heated & cooled our home with heatpumps for more than 20 years. Happy customers here! Saved a lot of money & carbon emissions.
Interesting opportunity here for someone who wants to help shape the future of local news -- especially on environmental topics. I serve on @PlanetDetroit Detroit's advisory board, and I'm telling that its founder, @ninaignaczak, is doing impressive work! https://t.co/cIB93kuL4x

Why NYT has OpenAI by the ____s.
➡️ What every plaintiff’s lawyer wants is a defendant with really deep pockets that has behaved egregiously even after being giving a chance to fix the problem.
➡️ That’s when punitive damages are huge.
➡️ OpenAI will likely try hard to settle the case, but NYT feels genuinely threatened.
➡️ But OpenAI can’t afford to settle many similar cases for big bucks when they aren’t even turning a profit.
➡️ And they really can’t afford to lose.
➡️ NYT knows all this.
Prediction: #ethnicnews outlets will become increasingly numerous & recognized in the next five years. Plus, #climateJustice will be an important story for them all. w @sejorg

@j_e_n_a_b@CMAWCalloway Important story, Jena. I'm curious about the national management of Dollar General. Apparently they have a lot of stores in rural areas as well.
