@IsSaddleThereIs@haringeycouncil@mikehakata Yes! It doesn't just benefit those who live in the area but those who travel through. I regularly cycle or walk through St Anns. I'm glad I can still feel safe on my way to work or to the shops.
@mikehakata I'd love to explore Myddleton Road more. Met friends for drinks there once but it was two buses and 45 minutes to get there from Tottenham. Apparently cycling would take 20, I just need to feel safe enough!
@W4rtagLyon69FR @luton_paul@fietsprofessor Cycling takes the same amount of time as the underground, more time than the bus, costs a lot less than either and I get some exercise.
@W4rtagLyon69FR @luton_paul@fietsprofessor Faster than a bus as it doesn't have all the stops but faster than a car too as we don't get stuck in traffic as much.
@climateguardian@theInfraPM I visited my mum in NZ and I couldn't run to the local parkrun because it was pitch black (parkrun starts at 8 there), country road, 100k zone, no path, no lighting. Next time I visited there was a well lit shared cycle/pedestrian path. Improvements like that around the country.
