The day before Birmingham was named in the grooming gang national inquiry, Ayoub Khan MP, wrote to the the Inquiry demanding it focused on victims “rather than the identities of perpetrators.”

I would like to believe that these tactics will no longer work and the days of Pakistani politicians dictating us on the Pakistani Grooming Gangs are over.

These were racially motivated crimes, overwhelmingly committed by Pakistani men. Their victims were White and the abuse took place on an 'industrial scale' over decades. The truth, however ugly, must now be told and it is up to us to force the national inquiry to do its job.

The National Inquiry is entering the phase that will decide where it goes, who it questions and what it is allowed to leave untouched. The people who covered this up for decades know that, and they are counting on the rest of us getting tired.

We are not tired. Red Wall and the Rabble is more than 15,000 strong. In the last three months alone more than 1,000 people have committed to a paid subscription, and 250,000 people have read one of my articles so far this year.

My name is Raja Miah MBE. For eight years I have exposed how politicians, police and public bodies failed working class White girls who were systematically raped by Pakistani grooming gangs. Together, with the support of the people of Oldham, we forced the Government to concede a National Statutory Inquiry after years of resistance.

No political party funds my work. No institution stands behind me. And no mainstream channel will amplify my work. Everything we have achieved so far has been possible because ordinary people stood alongside me.

Egyptian national living in Bletchley. Entered Britain illegally about nine years ago claiming to be Syrian, then got indefinite leave to remain.

Set up a Telegram group that shared Islamic State material, including suicide-vest instructions and bomb-making content.

Sent messages saying “by the way, I am a terrorist” and glorified the 9/11 attacks.

Found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court of IS membership, collecting information useful to a terrorist, and six counts of disseminating terrorist publications.

The moment we found out he lied he should have been out the door with a boot.👢

In 1947, when the partition plan was approved, Jews constituted approx one-third of the population of Mandatory Palestine west of the Jordan River.
The UN partition plan proposed allocating approx 56% of the territory to a Jewish state and 43% to an Arab state (with Jerusalem and its surroundings under int’l admin).
But, 60% of the Jewish allocation was Negev desert, compared with around quarter of the Arab allocation being desert or semi-desert.
Remove the desert and the breakdown in 1947 is: 33% of the population were Jewish and they were allocated 42% of the land.
In addition, the Jews were always clear that Arabs would be welcome to live in Israel if they accepted its existence (which is why 20% of the population today is Arab). Not so the Palestinians.

It seems to me that you cannot credibly defend the principle, as Owen does here, that all ethnic and religious groups are entitled to demand a homeland of their own while also supporting, as I believe Owen also does, policies of mass immigration and state-sponsored multiculturalism.
