I agree with you sir but again we can't expect the best from a system that's not willing to reward and encourage the best. It's a systemic issue. Until we address it things will keep going down the drain.
I agree that things are getting worse
Knowledge and skills wise
Not just this the enthusiasm is not there
Unfortunately these things translate to the kind of specialists we eventually train
I attended the WHX yesterday - and, off the top of my head, with 2 million Naira, you can transform Point-of-Care in 90% of Nigerian hospitals by bringing down costs, getting faster results and overall better care delivery.
It is well.
@onyi4lix @Soulmedika@Nigerian_Doctor Our junior colleagues are serially raping the ethics guiding our professional conduct. Each time I come on twitter I see clinically inappropriate pictures and conversations about our patients. A patient will come online and see his case used to raise Elon money
@Soulmedika Ogaaammmmiii, I am highly disappointed with what I am seeing lately ooo... I am wondering if we all skipped medical school. Why should a Dr post naked clinical picture on twitter?
@MDCNOfficial@nationalnma@Nigerian_Doctor we need to start enforcing the Medical and Dental Social Media Policy on Medical and Dental Practitioners who violate the ethics of our profession. This is highly despicable.
Dr. Chibuike, you're clearly violating the ethics of the medical and dental profession. Some pictures are meant to exist only in closed groups not on twitter. If you can afford to buy a blue tick you can afford to pay for Claude pro to help you with content ideas
@meowingabyss@MichelleInStars Do you know we've BNF? Do you know we've clinical decision support tools with all the Pharmacological information to decide which to prescribe based on clinical information you're not privy to?
Nobody will give you a car to drive professionally if you have not proven been certified. Pharms are allowed to do their checks and ask questions, please never underestimate the knowledge of drugs a doctor has. Never. No drug hits the shelf without Drs input.
@meowingabyss the amount of information about medications a pharmacist has could not be held in the brain of the average medical doctor on top of all the medical doctor information. there are tens of thousands of FDA approved medications out there.
@ayokunmi_t@Alexanechiboy@Emeka3345 It takes ignorance to assume Drs are not part of this chain. No drug hits the shelf without Drs being involved. You need strong knowledge of pathology to contribute to drug development.
This is i not just the mainland it transcends to other places in our country
let's unite and stand against exploitation
Enough is enough
let's share massively

In 2019, Dr. Olugbenga Anthony was practicing at University College Hospital Ibadan when he became acquainted with Ms. Goodness Taiwo Adeosun, a 400-level dental student at the University of Ibadan.
She was under his supervision at the time.
Their relationship later extended beyond professional boundaries.
Dr. Anthony acknowledged that their interactions became personal, including communication outside the clinical setting and meeting socially.
A complaint of sexual misconduct was subsequently filed. An initial review in Nigeria did not establish sufficient evidence.
After Dr. Anthony relocated to the UK, the case was brought before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service. The tribunal conducted a formal investigation and concluded that the allegations of misconduct were not proven.
The relationship was deemed consensual, and Dr. Anthony was cleared to continue medical practice.
