There’s more than one way to speed training.
Examples:
Feed the cats: 2-3 sprints/session
ALTIS: 8-10 sprints/session
EXOS: 4-8 sprints/session
Every single one of these has produced results. Find what fits your situation and do what your athletes need.
1/5 Listen @pntrack I’ve used a lot of your methods and am very grateful for your work. But Coach, this post can’t be serious.
This is a pile of 🔥🗑️.
My issues with each statement:
I don’t care much about KPIs in the weight room.
I care if kids move well, stay consistent, and leave with the tools to train for life.
Most won’t play at the next level.
But all of them will have a next level of life.
That’s why we Feed the Dogs 🐕 🦴🐕

Congratulations to our Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Jack Rinzel on earning an opportunity to join the Carolina Hurricanes organization!
We're grateful for Jack’s investment in our players & can’t wait to see him impact athletes at the next level!
We have elite strength coaches debating whether baseball players should barbell bench or DB bench (it doesn’t really matter)
Meanwhile I still have kids telling me they can’t back squat cause their private baseball guy told them it’ll mess up their c-spine
Absolutely love this concept of “dual partnership” — strength coaches can be a huge asset to a sport coach’s staff if they are on the same page…with the same vision… and the same messaging 👏🏼
Baltimore has been investing youth programming, including late night programs, summer camps, teen jobs, sports, after school programs, etc. Homicides in the city are down 40%, with steep drops in robberies, carjackings, and shootings. This should be talked about more.
