And these characters are present at every signal, how many do you think I can pay? If I had that kind of income I would have people doing things for me - I wouldn’t be on the street myself #bangalore
Spotted at trinity signal #bengaluru : an aggressive hermaphrodite begging for money - and upon denying or ignoring says something that sounded like a “curse”. How about getting a job? The government recognises you now
This is brilliant! 🔥
Inspired by Nitin Gadkari, dairy farmers in Jaipur have introduced M0, M50 and M100 milk.
M100 milk is best for health and can even be consumed by lactose intolerant people. Because it is pure water! 🤣
@Tejasvi_Surya the auto drivers and cab drivers need to be reprimanded. They are providing the city a service - not doing us a favor. You cannot pick and choose who to serve. You never know who is booking for an emergency.
After SC statement of right to walk, I decided to walk today only on existing footpaths of Vimannagar and reached to a conclusion.
We are the world’s filthiest country.
Does that mean that most Indians have filthy minds too?
IMO, the fact that we keep fighting over everything that divides us(like religion, language), yet hardly fight for keeping our cities clean, indicates that there may be some truth in my hypothesis.
Major cheat code for life: Become difficult to rush. The world will pressure you to rush into everything. Rushed decisions. Rushed conversations. Rushed relationships. Rushed timelines. There's immense power in rejecting that trend. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.
@BlrCityPolice it’s 0345 and this has been going on for at least 30 mins. I don’t care if it’s the weekend or if it’s some festival - is this approved by the police? Have some civic sense! You woke my infant daughter up. (Location: Konena agrahara 4th main road)
GD BAKSHI TEARS INTO MODI GOVT’S SILENCE 🔥
GD BAKSHI: Three Indian sailors were killed. Not one word of apology. Not one word of regret.
REPORTER: G7 meetings are happening. Photo-ops are planned.
GD BAKSHI: To hell with photo-ops. Three Indian homes are mourning.
REPORTER: What message does this send?
GD BAKSHI: Are Indian citizens street dogs? Drain insects? They died, so what?
A friend doesn’t kill your people and pose for photos.
The Indian mind is not truly free. A child growing up in India is exposed to constant negativity: cultism sold as religion, unequal opportunities, vulgar displays of ill-gotten wealth, a deeply transactional society, normalized corruption, unhealthy competition that often breeds schadenfreude, and the repeated triumph of compromised institutions and businesses.
The saddest part? The moment you point out these behaviors and ask for reform, the protectors of the system rush to label you “anti-national” rather than engage with the criticism.
A nation grows when it can confront its flaws honestly, not when it silences those who dare to point them out.
I think the present form of Hinduism-idol worship, ritual dips in the Ganges, astrology-driven name changes, vastu prescriptions, sacred threads, rings, forehead marks, and countless rituals amplified by a thriving pandit industry-has drifted far from spirituality and into superstition. If religion is meant to encourage self-reflection, compassion, truth, and personal growth, then these outward symbols and ritualistic practices often miss the point. The sooner young Indians learn to question inherited beliefs and distinguish spirituality from superstition, the better off India will be.
I'm such a Indian Culture snob, I'll say we were the best we were the first in everything; art, science, food, textiles, etc. We already did what the world is figuring out now. Then I face reality and I see dirty rivers, dirty streets, unsafe living conditions, chopping of trees, Dirty Temples. What happened to people's psyche? Their genes deteriorated? Their brain cells got fried? Who are we really? Sure I'm a culprit too.
Culture thrives and betters when basic needs are met but we are struggling, breathing under the water
Everyone is slowly dying inside;
- Some stopped taking photos.
- Some lost interest in new clothes.
- Some hate love now.
- Some got used to loneliness.
- Some stopped meeting friends.
- Some stopped comparing.
Some just accepted what they couldn’t achieve.
The same people who once dreamed big are now just pushing through days.
Check on your people.
Not everyone is okay.
There are a lot of things I want to say about India: dishonesty, lack of respect for human life, nepotism, an inability to hear inconvenient truths, manipulation, disconnect from reality, shooting the messenger, fraud, weakening institutions, and negativity.
The good news? None of these are permanent. Every one of them can be fixed.
The first step is admitting the problem exists.
