Why is this still out of use? I’m sure it’s been over 2 years now. Its a beautiful place to visit so can’t understand why it hasn’t been repaired? 🤷🏻♂️ @LBofBromley@neill_bob
Nearly 👇🏼every Bromley Conservative councillor voted against working towards a pedestrian crossing supported by 4,000+ signatures from residents. Where is the representation?? #BromleyZombieCouncil
This will stop you in your tracks. Unbelievable. We gave them the names of those we trained to fight them. And some we will leave behind to the violence we see at the airport.
An appalling day, verging from rage to tears. https://t.co/KaZT8KAfbk
The Vagrancy Act is cruel, Dickensian law which criminalises homeless people for simply trying to survive.
This cruel and heartless law must be scrapped and the Government must address why people are having to sleep rough in the first place.

@danjgregory My name is private , I can travel through Europe with my vaccination certificate , given to me after my vaccines in Portugal . I can attend events , go to restaurants & get on with my life . I continue to wear a mask to keep others safe , because I refuse to be an idiot .
We are drafting a new transport strategy for the borough.
As a first step we're asking residents to complete a survey about their bus usage to find out:
🚏
- Why people use buses
- What would make them more popular
- Where the gaps in our network are

myBeckenham: RT @BromleyLibDems: #Beckenham MP Bob Stewart has been asked to apologise after trying to interfere with the independence of our judiciary system. We condemn this shameful behaviour.

A warm reception (🥵☀️!) on the doorsteps this weekend from voters as we continue to deliver our Summer Survey across Bromley.
We picked up and reported incidents of fly-tipping and graffiti, after residents raised these with us directly.
More needs to be done across Bromley to make our roads safer.
For example residents have got in touch with us to raise serious concerns about heavy traffic on Homesdale Road & lack of a safe pedestrian crossing.
Please complete our Road Safety Survey ⤵️

We met our Ward Councillor Christine Harris and the Portfolio Holder for Environment and Community Services, William Huntington-Thresher today to discuss road safety and had some frank conversations about the desperate need for crossings - watch this space 👀
Very disappointing to see the 3 @Conservatives MPs for Beckenham, Bromley and Chislehurst & Orpington all vote to reduce the UK's spending on international development to 0.5% of national income in yesterday's vote.
This is the manifesto that they were elected on in 2019:
“Two Whitehall sources told the Guardian that ministers had been spooked by internal polling. One said the data showed just 10% of the public support the policy of scrapping all restrictions at once”
