I have handed him over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
Let me reiterate that the administration of His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, maintains a zero-tolerance policy for acts of sabotage against public infrastructure.

Unregulated and reckless dredging activities across the state have become a significant source of environmental degradation. These practices endanger the lives and livelihoods of our people, the integrity of critical infrastructure, and the sustainability of our ecosystem.
@RtHonSheriff 3. Ban on dredging activities near bridges and other critical infrastructure across the state.
4. Ban on dredging activities in residential areas to protect the health and safety of our people.
5. Ban on the haulage of wet sand or sand transported without cover by tippers
In response to this challenge, Governor @RtHonSheriff, in line with the MORE Agenda and it’s goal of prioritizing environmental sustainability, has directed the Ministry of Environment to take immediate action by implementing the following measures:
1. Mandatory registration of dredging sites and submission of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to the Ministry of Environment within one week of this notice.
2. Immediate shutdown of illegal dredging sites operating without a valid EIA.
