General @mkainerugaba, this is what we needed to hear. On behalf of Sydney's family, his teammates and every Ugandan who has been shattered by this loss, thank you for seeing us and for speaking up.
We trust you to make good on these words. Swift justice, public accountability, no quiet settlements and no disappearing files. Sydney deserves better than that and so does Uganda.
But Gen. MK, just to be clear. This thug Obed is not the only one. There are others who were part of that mob, who threw hands, watched and cheered, and are still out there walking free as though nothing happened. All of them must be found and brought before the courts. Justice for Sydney cannot be complete if even one of his killers remains at large.
The 45,000+ people who signed that petition are watching. The sports fraternity, Sydney's family and all Ugandans are watching and believe you.

Pronto tendremos otra sorpresa.
Primero Dios.
I just checked and it’s true. Over the 96 years that the World Cup has existed, all World Cup winning coaches are citizens of the winning country.
In fact, only two foreign coaches have been to the World Cup final and they both lost. They are:
• Sweden 1958 (George Raynor, England)
• Netherlands 1978 (Ernst Happel, Austria)
The World Cup winning coaches are:
•. 1930: Alberto Suppici (Uruguay)
• 1934: Vittorio Pozzo (Italy)
• 1938: Vittorio Pozzo (Italy)
• 1950: Juan López Fontana (Uruguay)
• 1954: Sepp Herberger (West Germany)
• 1958: Vicente Feola (Brazil)
• 1962: Aymoré Moreira (Brazil)
• 1966: Alf Ramsey (England)
• 1970: Mário Zagallo (Brazil)
• 1974: Helmut Schön (West Germany)
• 1978: César Luis Menotti (Argentina)
• 1982: Enzo Bearzot (Italy)
• 1986: Carlos Bilardo (Argentina)
• 1990: Franz Beckenbauer (West Germany)
• 1994: Carlos Alberto Parreira (Brazil)
• 1998: Aimé Jacquet (France)
• 2002: Luiz Felipe Scolari (Brazil)
• 2006: Marcello Lippi (Italy)
• 2010: Vicente del Bosque (Spain)
• 2014: Joachim Löw (Germany)
• 2018: Didier Deschamps (France)
• 2022: Lionel Scaloni (Argentina)

After today's UWEC - Mbale Zoo launch, I had the privilege of walking Hon @WanyotoLydia and Minister of State @mopsuganda to @GongodyoSidney’s final resting place.
She stood there, looked, listened, and then said the words that matter most right now, she supports the cause to get #JusticeforSydney and wants it done speedily.
Justice for Sydney is not just a family plea, it is a national one.
And to you, Guga..
I told you, I will stop at nothing to fight for you. I am still fighting. We are still fighting, and we will not rest until justice is served!

Today, four of the goons responsible for what happened to my brother @GongodyoSidney, a one Obed Mugwisa, Elly Mundoni, Joseph Owino, and Henry Kabugo were formally charged with murder at the City Hall Magistrate’s Court in Kampala and stood before the courts. Eleven people are now in custody.
I sat with that number for a while before writing this. It does not bring Sydney back. It does not undo what was done to him on that road in Bukoto, but it tells me something I needed to hear: this is not going to be swept under the carpet. The people who did this will have to answer for it in a court of law, in front of all of us.
To the @PoliceUg , thank you, Genuinely. The work that went into tracking down each of these goons, one by one, has been relentless and it shows, and to the boda boda riders and leaders who helped identify and bring in some of these culprits, you did something that took courage. You looked at what your own colleagues did and said no, that is not who we are. We will not forget that.
To everyone who has been pushing for justice, raising your voices, sharing the story, standing with the family, and refusing to let this fade, thank you. Your solidarity and pressure are making a real difference.
But we are not done. There are others who were there that afternoon and are still walking around as if nothing happened.
To you, wherever you are: go to the nearest Police station and hand yourselves in effective immediately. The net is closing, every hour you delay only makes the end more certain by the way. You can run, hide, change your name, your number and your routine,..it will not matter.
Sydney’s blood is hunting you, the evidence is mounting, and we are not stopping until every single one of you is exactly where you belong!.

There are moments I forget for a second, then it all comes back.
Looking at these videos of Sydney just living his life, just being the gentle, playful, warm human being that he was, I keep asking myself how? How do you look at a man like this and do what they did to him?
If they knew him the way I knew him, they would never have done this. They could never have raised a hand against someone this gentle and good. But they did not know him, and that is the tragedy..
I will never stop fighting for you brother. Never! 🖤

@ZziwaMoses5, like many others, continues to condemn the mob attack that claimed the life of his teammate, Sydney Gongodyo.
