@megannn_lynne meg i’m ngl this made me tear up. if this had been on window person, it would’ve been My Poem, like that tweet from a while back where you asked people to claim their poems. i’m so fuckin happy for you that you have a sister and some ice cream. so glad to get to watch you grow <3
@Thimblesworth@bonemealzer@YakubianRapist@catpurrglar@kamisatoswift they “invented that name” during the Hellenistic Period (300 BCE). none of the words in this tweet are as old as the word “goy” except “God”. Judaism’s one of the first practiced religions. and “racism” is about race—everyone that isnt Jewish isnt of one race so it cant be racist
@_beccaharrison@twink_kj_apa we had to repeatedly put our guy on the stairs whenever he’d just down and individually put his feet each stair one at a time for two straight months before he finally got the picture 😅 but he got there! dogs are the loveliest, but boy can they be stubborn! 🤦♀️
@_beccaharrison@twink_kj_apa i have a 12 year old daschund and we get him doggy stairs for the beds & couches! they’re cheap as hell on—you guessed it—fb marketplace! we loved our bed frames and once we got our beloved stubborn little guy to go up and down them instead of jumping, all has been well since! :)
today is one of the happiest days of my life because i get to say something i’ve dreamt of since i was a little girl:
I WROTE A BOOK!!!
my poetry collection, WINDOW PERSON, is available for pre-order now.

More and more Democrats in Congress understand that spending billions of taxpayer dollars to starve children in Gaza is not acceptable.
It’s time Republicans came on board.
No more military aid to Netanyahu’s war machine.
@PeterLBrandt@middle_class_us you currently can’t get a job that isn’t food service without getting a 4 year degree. at all. and you have to get it from somewhere decently prestigious or you’re fucked—thus, needing to take out loans (and the jobs you can get with that degree STILL have no job security)
@TeetyyTheBOI@BronxBmbrz congrats man! if you haven’t tried em, spinner rings help me with my own addiction—gives me something physical and non-harmful to do with my hands. keep truckin pal, you got this!!!!!! more than a week is mitzvah. here’s to another week, month, year, and decade 🥂
Tom Felton says the controversy around J.K. Rowling's political views doesn't impact him: "I'm not really that attuned to it...I have not seen anything bring the world together more than Potter. She's responsible for that, so I'm incredibly grateful." #TonyAwards
there’s never been a more clear example of Socially Acceptable Blackness vs racism (the same thing) than never need me by rachel chinouriri, a song by black woman, playing in the bg of a video of two young black girls being thrown out of a target exclusively because they’re black
Two black girls were racially profiled at a H&M location, the manager denied service to them because she thinks they will get “violent” & “steal“ from the store with no actual proof
I've always found this one iteration of the destiel meme oddly poignant. having grown weary of his perpetual memification, dean seems to finally break free from the template, as if to insist on the inevitability of his love....
describe the stuffed animal. what type of relationship do you have with the man you’re protecting? the fourth is more of a “proverb” than a poem and the second seems like they gutted the entire middle. why? so people can get in and get out without having to empathize for too long
“i’m not talking about coffee” and yet some of the greatest poets i’ve ever read aren’t published. i could fill a whole hours-long video essay about how i think social media ruined people’s empathy levels and attention spans, and therefore their ability to engage with poetry
these kaur-esque poems that are 15 words at most and aren’t following any haiku, etc formatting are so pared down from the emotionality of a hard impact. a line that packs a punch can’t be the only line because otherwise, what’s the punch FOR? where’s the context?
