@Mr__Beatty That’s a really good point. It’s not just about the truck itself. Owners could end up with fewer options for accessories and upgrades, which would be pretty disappointing.
@ericdmann Interesting to see deliveries already pushed into 2027. Seems like there’s still plenty of interest in the Cybertruck despite everything going on.
@DaniMeetsWorld I get your point. A Cybercab could be useful for quick trips around the city, but it wouldn’t replace owning a car for me either. Both options should exist.
@scrowder I get the business side of it, but it’s still disappointing. The Cybertruck is unlike anything else on the road. Would’ve been nice to see it evolve for a few more years.
@first_dog Not gonna lie, the DeLorean comparison is pretty accurate. But that’s part of what makes the Cybertruck so interesting. At least Tesla wasn’t afraid to try something different.
@Everydaysandro That sounds like quite an adventure! Exploring places like that in a Model X must be an incredible experience. Hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly, and keep sharing more photos and videos of your journey!!!!!!
@dean_sampo Elon already has enough ambitious projects to keep us entertained for decades. I'm more interested in seeing what SpaceX accomplishes next. 😀
@ethanmckanna Interesting catch! Seeing Cybercabs out there at those hours is pretty exciting. If Tesla is moving toward 24/7 operations, that's a big step forward.
@samuelclarke Well said. The Cybertruck brought some incredible engineering to the market. It's disappointing to see Tesla walk away from a vehicle with so much potential. It deserved more time to evolve.
@OverlyTrev 2027 could be a huge year for Robotaxi. It's exciting to see the progress in Austin, but I'm really interested in seeing how quickly Tesla can expand to other cities.
@CarawayDJ I think both can coexist. I love the idea of autonomous driving, but sometimes you just want to get behind the wheel and enjoy the drive. Having that choice matters.
@mylestoamillion That's quite a journey! From one of the highest roads to the lowest point in the country. Really impressive seeing 98% self-driving on a trip like that. Safe travels!
@JoshWest247 It's sad to see Tesla's lineup getting smaller. I love the technology, but I also miss when Tesla was focused on giving customers more choices, not fewer.
@jcibme I'd still trust a regular pickup on roads like that. Self-driving technology has come a long way, but muddy rural roads are a whole different challenge.
