@theburningmonk Left is a bit confusing. If I have a single cfn stack with dynamodb and my lambda in it then how do I run an integration test without deploying to AWS first?
Hey @Schiphol
Father in law left hand baggage on plane which arrived in AMS from VIE
13 June 2023 - KL 1848 arriving at 21:45
Have filled out lost and found form on the 14th June and tried calling 02033303333 for which there has been no answer.
Please advise
@SwanseaCouncil when will the road through higher lane be opened. Months overdue and annoying /dangerous for those living along the diversion route. ..
@alexbdebrie I have a user in ddb. This user has a list of roles against them. I want to create an event when a role added or removed. Do I
a: explicitly write an event to the bus from within lambda code or
b: use streams as an input to to pipes with filter and transform with bus as target?
@alexbdebrie@krishnamani999 A decent hosted UI
Easy integration with a plethora of 2nd factors
V good support
Easier SAML/Enterprise connection creation
Allocate users to organisations
++ more
But $$$, stingy limits + not part of the AWS eco system
@theburningmonk Like the thinking - couple of issues - dynamodb global tables and, if using serverless.yml, circular dependencies if say you create a cmk encrypted bucket as part of the stack and then try to reference the cmk arn in the iam role of your functions.
@samgoodwin89@MenskMensk@thdxr It's more nuanced than that. Concurrency, smaller package sizes all play a role. There's normally a happy medium to be found somewhere on the path of single purpose functions -> lambdaliths.
@theburningmonk Non happy path testing against cloud resources. Yes I don't want to see localstack anywhere either, but I also want to be able to test AWS failures.
@jeremy_daly@MarcoTroisi If nothing else if you want to really learn the aws sdk then the debugger is your friend.
Interesting discussion about debugging here: https://t.co/cXx6o7Elvv
