Iran declared it will wait out the Trump administration until January 20, 2029, but Iran likely doesn't need to wait that long, with the US SPR running out in weeks forcing Trump's hand well before 2029.
Interesting US official claim re: 8 MMbpd of outbound Hormuz oil flow.
This is currently ~33% more than I'm seeing (including dark transits, Gulf of Oman STS, etc)
And critically it's 3-4x the pace of current inbound ballast, so even if it is currently true it's unsustainable.
The NYSE Gold BUGS Index has had five other instances of weekly returns like the one this past week.
The last time this happened?
2016.
What followed was an 85% gain in 26 weeks.
BREAKING: Iran has flatly ruled out any future negotiations with the Trump administration, declaring it will wait out Trump's term until January 20, 2029, per an advisor to the Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf and a senior Iranian source.
"Trump will not reach an agreement with us. We will accompany him until his term ends," Majid Shakeri, advisor to Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf says.
Shakeri adds "the path to victory is neither fighting nor a deal, it is managing the process of neither war nor peace, up to the point of victory. Publicly confirming negotiations with the US is sheer folly. The winning approach is denial, ambiguity, and strategic patience."
Unless Trump accepts all of Iran's conditions in the US surrender document, the Strait of Hormuz stays closed until 2029. Those demands include $300 billion in compensation, more than $100 billion in frozen assets released, lifting all sanctions, US troop withdrawal from the entire region, and accepting transit fees on every ship.
BREAKING: For the first time since it was filled, the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) has fallen below 300 million barrels to 298.7 million, down 6.1 million barrels from a week ago. Declines are likely for a few more weeks before the authorized release is complete.

Iran's conditions remain unchanged: $300 billion in compensation, release of frozen assets, and withdrawal of U.S. forces. Until then, the Strait stays closed.

Dear non-Muslims, it is ok to be afraid of Islam. It has not been very kind to you for 1,400 years. There is no such thing as Islamophobia. It is a term invented by those who do not wish for anyone to scrutinize Islam. Carry on.
