@honzik96@TheBoiledEgg You think they be grabbing ass like that if it was a son? Intention doesn’t have to be sexual for the objectification to be wrong.
The best indicator in Kansas right now is Ellis Co. (Hays, KS), which voted 71%-27% for Trump in '20. Right now, "Yes" on removing abortion protections is up just 55%-45% w/ maybe 3/4 of the vote in.
So far, the "No" side is hitting the numbers it needs.
@belyndar@jurijfedorov@JoshuaPotash The UN WFP is a registered US charity, donations to it would be tax deductible. But, that’s almost certainly not where it actually went, at least not directly. Where the money went, or eventually goes, is all speculation unless it’s publicly disclosed. https://t.co/jj1hLkiUxk?
@JetBlue just gave me the experience I’ve had on any airline and I’ve flown plenty and been diverted/delayed/cancelled on before. Just never been completely abandoned by the airline and left to figure it out on my own with no explanation or recompense.
Flight got diverted from LGA to BOS due to weather, which sucks but @JetBlue response has so far been awful. Took forever to confirm flight was canceled, and then told we would get an email 5 am today on a new flight.
@PDWilliamsGWU @SaraWahedi@EBKania Aware of security council and host country need to consent. AFAICT a serious attempt wasn’t made, failure shared among all involved. Doesn’t change the fact that a UN mission to help at risk Afghans when US abandoned its responsibility would have helped, regardless of obstacles.
@PDWilliamsGWU @SaraWahedi@EBKania Here’s an article by a white western academic that might be taken less dismissively that an early deployment of UN could have made a difference. Cursory search’s also show plenty of scholarship on a rapid deployment UN force to address this very issue. https://t.co/BTBZVJWCUw
@PDWilliamsGWU @SaraWahedi@EBKania I find it unbelievable that you would be unaware that slow responses by UN to conflicts in need of urgent action is a common criticism. Instead you talk down and offer a response of ‘this is just how it is’, surprising for an academic who is suppose to study this critically.
@DanielJDwyer @johnbearwithme A debt collector can garnish your bank accounts with a court order. The federal and state governments can also do this if you have unpaid taxes. So yes, they can definitely snatch shit from your accounts.

@neildugal@NateSilver538 There is a lot more to decision making and policy then looking at statistical analysis. Just picking polls or certain stats and making decisions in areas you have no expertise in to weigh a bunch of other factors, gained through experience in that field, is a dangerous thing.
@Aliquickk @lostfreak4 @celinegounder@NateSilver538 Did you watch the video or just read the tweet? She makes an argument about short-term vs long-term trust in public health officials to do the right thing. A lot of vaccine hestitancy is grounded in past unethical behavior from medical professionals, especially among minorities.
@NateSilver538 Funny thing is in the video she only briefly made a mention of your lack of credentials and mostly spent the time making a specific, coherent, and credible argument against what you said. But you yourself have chosen to ignore the substance of what was said.
