@walshk62 I agree Kerri! I also had this opportunity. It was such a valuable skill to learn and was very enjoyable. I hope to continue on from the 4 weeks and learn even more! It will be so important to be able to communicate with every child in our future classes! #si401

Today's input from @logananna11 highlighted to me important aspects of teacher-SNA relationship. These include communication, patience, empathy and trust. It was interesting to see examples of what is important from the perspective of an SNA, where respect was key. #si401

A huge asset of the SIE specialism, is having the opportunity to collaborate and learn from our peers. Our assessment for this module allowed us to do so. It was extremely insightful to see ideas for inclusive lessons presented in class.

This idea of “living contradiction” really highlighted to me how easy it can be to get stuck in what works for you rather than look at what works for the children in front of you!
