The scale of inhumanity being inflicted on the Sudanese people is unfathomable.

While Sudan burns and its people bleed, the UAE stands accused of financing and arming the forces responsible for some of the worst atrocities — while Sudanese gold continues to flow through the UAE. UN reporting has documented networks linking the RSF to gold revenues and external supply routes.

A blood heist of unimaginable proportion.

2027: America won’t allow Tinubu to rig polls in Nigeria — US firm roars

A US-based political advisory and lobbying company, Von Batten-Montague-York, has raised concerns over Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, warning that the United States cannot afford to allow President Bola Tinubu to rig the polls.

The firm made the claim in a Thursday post on its verified X account, stressing that the conduct of free and fair elections in Nigeria would be important to American interests in Nigeria and across the wider West African region.

It also alleged that concerns about corruption within Tinubu’s administration are increasing among politicians across different political divides.

According to the firm, Tinubu had appointed a serving minister overseeing the national budget despite an alleged past connection to the embezzlement of money from Nigeria’s treasury. However, the company did not present supporting documents for the allegation in the latest post.

“The US cannot afford to allow President Tinubu to rig the upcoming Nigerian election,” the firm stated.

The company further warned that what it described as “lawlessness” in Nigeria could lead the country towards a situation similar to those experienced in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso. It maintained that ensuring free and fair elections would be necessary to safeguard US interests in Nigeria and the broader West African region.

The latest comments follow other claims previously made by the firm about Nigeria’s 2027 electoral process. Earlier this month, it alleged that Tinubu was deploying government institutions, including INEC, the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, against opposition parties and candidates. The firm, however, did not provide evidence for that claim in its post.

Von Batten-Montague-York is a private lobbying and policy advisory firm, meaning its statements do not represent official positions of the United States government.

Burkina Faso released a security notice lists wanted terrorists in the country, but what caught the world's attention was that, reportedly, about 95% of those being sought were Fulani.

This has led many people, particularly from northern Nigeria, to ask Fulani bandit sympathizers such as Senator Shehu Buba a question: If they claim that Fulani people in Nigeria resort to terrorism because they are being persecuted or oppressed, then does that mean Fulani people in Burkina Faso and other countries outside Nigeria are also being persecuted, and that this is why they engage in terrorism there as well?

DON’T BUY Dangote Refinery shares. 😔

In 2007 — 19 years ago — I bought Dangote Flour Mills shares with ₦150,000. I have the share certificate, and my name is on it; I posted it with this post. 📜

I never received any dividend (the profit shared among shareholders), and to this day I have not even recovered my original capital. I tried to follow up through a stockbroker, but I couldn’t find anyone nearby who could help. I only went to Lagos in 2019. 🚗✈️
I also went to the bank many times to fill e-Dividend forms, but I later noticed that Dangote Flour Mills had been removed from the list of companies on it. 🤦‍♂️

In 2022, Pension and Stockbroker offices started appearing in Gombe. I went to one office; the staff member told me Dangote Flour Mills had sold the company and that shareholders’ money had been transferred to the government — the NIPF (National Investment and Protection Fund).

From there they told me to go to the SEC, where they said I should fill an e-Mandate form. I filled it, but up till now there has been silence. 😔

Because of this experience, I cannot advise anyone to rush into buying shares without first understanding how the system works. Investigate thoroughly. Know where you will claim your dividend and your original capital if the company changes structure or stops operating. 📊💰

Now I would also like people who understand financial calculations to work out the value for me: ₦150,000 in 2007 — looking at the exchange rate and the value of money at that time — roughly how much is that worth today? 🤔💵

Update: We have been cleared and authorized to proceed with a $36 million federal lawsuit against Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@OfficialABAT) and Ambassador Femi Fani-Kayode in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The suit arises from threats to kidnap and physically harm Dr. Von Batten, made by Ambassador Fani-Kayode as part of an organized criminal conspiracy involving the Nigerian Presidency.

As to President #Tinubu, this case will test the limits of the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and head-of-state immunity while Tinubu remains President. The complaint will proceed under applicable D.C. tort law, the FSIA, the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), and the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), including 28 U.S.C. § 1605B and 18 U.S.C. §§ 2331 and 2333. Section 1605B addresses specified international-terrorism claims against foreign states, while § 2333 provides a civil remedy to U.S. nationals who satisfy its statutory requirements.

After filing next week, we will engage with U.S., U.K., and E.U. immigration authorities regarding the alleged extrajudicial threats and whether Ambassador Fani-Kayode’s travel or visa status warrants review. U.S. law provides terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility under INA § 212(a)(3)(B), 8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(3)(B), and authority for visa revocation under INA § 221(i), 8 U.S.C. § 1201(i). Any determination will be for the appropriate authorities.
