@ToAllard@RadioFreeTom The scores of my AP Lit class were 17 5s, 5 4s, and 1 3. And I won a College Board award. By that time I had designed a very fun experiential project for the “literals” that drew some of the “gifteds” to their class. The stigma of lesser intellectual capability was assuaged.

@AWeissmann_ Thank you for posting a recording of the entire hearing. I am struck by the contrast between reporting in the MSM and what I could discern for myself. All the attorney arguments would be improved by knowledge of the principles of semantics. (See S.I. Hayakawa, 5th ed.)
@ChrisMurphyCT Don't laugh. I think public spaces like cycling trails can also be places to enhance community spirit and strength, both as places to meet and as a non-sectarian place to volunteer. Churches can contribute to community divisions if they express that holier than thou attitude.
.@SecBlinken on family attacked by Hamas: "The father's eye gouged out, the mother's breast cut off, the girl's foot amputated, the boy's fingers cut off before they were executed, and then their executioners sat down and had a meal. That is what this society is dealing with."
