I nerd-sniped myself into building a react native library that let's you apply image filters blazingly fast, works with expo-image here's a demo of blurring an image in JS vs. using my native module :)
Today, we're announcing the death of the resume. And the launch of Cruitical.
We spoke with over 600 people on the streets of San Francisco, and we now see the problem clearer than anyone.
Hiring has never been more broken, both sides are losing, and it's reaching a cataclysmic state faster than people realize. It was never designed to find the truth, it was designed to filter.
@trycruitical gives employers a complete picture of every candidate before the first interview -- how they think, how they learn, how they perform under real conditions.
And gives candidates a way to be seen for what they actually are, and get better.
@lossfunk Fascinating how the LLM "works out" the grammar. What about the vocabulary for words it doesn't know the translations to? How can it know what an apple is called in Tulu? I'm guessing it just uses a word from a secondary language directly?
I came across @JatinBanga18’s Jomato Android app that runs in the background and alerts you when Zomato Food Rescue is available nearby.
Since I’m not on Android, I asked Codex to rewrite it to run as a Cloudflare Worker cron job:

Wouldn’t have been in tech if not for these people. I owe so much of who I am to my peers and seniors in Converge Clan. So proud that I left school with more kids (in hoodies) passionate about tech.
The delhi school tech scene was actually goated because these guys would randomly pull up people like Rajeev Makhni for a school tech quiz and you'd see people travelling from different cities just to take part. And the level of quizzing was insane!
