Very delayed thread about last month's terrific Liberal Arts College Labor and Public (LAC-PaL) Conference held at @Smith_Economics with support from @AmherstCollege Econ. We had 37 in-person & 15 virtual attendees, and 2 days of terrific presentations and conversations!
4/ @ekose86, @EliraKuka, and @shenhav_n, show that girls exposed to more years of women's suffrage in their state of birth obtained higher levels of education in adulthood.
These gains were concentrated among poorer families and Black families.
