Let’s not forget about the “hidden homeless”. This is when people temporarily live with others, with no plan or means of getting a permanent residence elsewhere.
450,000- 900,000 people in Canada experience this in a year!

We live in an amazing country, but still on any given night up to 35,000 Canadians are homeless. 235,000 Canadians could experience homelessness in one year. Any one of us could be in this situation, at any time.

We have to remember that we as the people need to create the change we want to see.
It’s been made clear we can no longer sit back and hope for the best.
We are the future and if we are relentless milestones will be made!

With Toronto being our home, EKS will focus on raising the necessary funds to provide some warm clothing and food to those in need, throughout the winter season.
