In 1974, Tippi Hedren, the iconic Hollywood actress, found herself in a rather unique and exotic situation. While most people unwind at home with a cat or a dog, Tippi Hedren had a different companion by her side – a pet cheetah.
This unusual pairing captured the imagination of many and became a symbol of Hedren's love for wildlife and her fearless spirit.
Hedren's affinity for big cats began during the making of Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 film, "The Birds." She starred in the film, and during its production, she had the opportunity to work closely with big cats, including lions and tigers. This experience ignited her passion for these magnificent creatures.
Over the years, Tippi Hedren dedicated herself to the rescue and care of big cats, founding the Shambala Preserve in California, a sanctuary for exotic animals. Her pet cheetah was likely one of the residents at Shambala.
While Tippi Hedren may have been an unconventional pet owner, her commitment to wildlife conservation and her willingness to share her home with such incredible creatures undoubtedly left a lasting legacy in the world of animal advocacy.

Here's the life advice everyone needs to hear:
