@jenniferwilkin I couldn’t agree more! Working through your study of Hebrews and when I have extra minutes in the day I read and reread a chapter or two. Noticing new words and connections every time! Thank you for including this practice in your studies.
"We're so afraid for our kids to be exposed to hard things.
Hard is good.
The earlier you can learn to deal with hard- the easier it gets.
Because hard is coming.
Whether we want to shield our kids from it or not, hard is coming- high school, college, first job- hard is coming."

Our kids are faced with an identity crisis because society has exchanged the truth
of God's word for the lies of this world.
But God's word doesn’t change with sociocultural trends. We must abide
in His word so our kids will know the
truth, and the truth will set them free.
If you’re worshipping a God who never offends you, expects anything out of you, or wants you to change…
You’re not worshipping the true and living God, but rather an idol that you formed by your opinions and preferences and just attached Jesus name to it.
The Grammys were a sobering reminder that there’s plenty of people willing to disciple your kids for you.
Kids can either be discipled by celebs, ideologies, politics, or they can be discipled by you, the Gospel, the church, etc.
Don’t subcontract discipleship out to the world.

PLEASE allow movement in your classroom! I promise it’s not a waste of time. They talked about doing planks with the kids which I’ve never done with them before. Planks help to stretch and relax muscles that become stiff from prolonged sitting. #WhosGotItBetterThanWES
The best schools don't focus all their energy on intervention programs; instead, they focus on strong tier 1 instruction to limit the need of intervention programs. #edchat#education
The recurring crisis of the gifted leader will be whether or not he/she can resist the seduction of ambition. If we think we’ve conquered it, we’ve more likely renamed it goal setting. There’s still time to be a fool.
Go deeper, not bigger.
Only hardy roots can handle height.
