My farther-in-law was one of the volunteers who helped to collect bodies from the bank of the Volga river. Honestly, he was not happy with what he saw and he is not happy with that still today.

Hey @Plainly_D - after your last video about the boat and the bridge I remember that there was very similar tragedy in my hometown, Ulyanosk, Russia, but it was much, much worse. In 1983 ship called "Alexander Suvorov" had decided to go under the wrong section of the bridge.

More than 200 people were on the upper deck that night. Collision with bridge basically had ripped in half most of them. And, like if it wasn't enough, cargo train that had been driving on the bridge, had fallen on the damaged ship. That really was disaster and a half.

Dang, that was awesome. One of the most challenging and demanding projects in my career is almost done. Two and a half years of hard work, -60 degrees Celsius on site — and it's done. Gold ain't gonna mine itself!
