Listen...

I watched Cyberpunk. My intention was genuinely just to enjoy it. It had absolutely nothing to do with JK. Because I was going through a tough time and I needed to clear my head a bit. But as I kept watching, certain things started reminding me of other things...

David is 17 years old, living with his mother, and he's a bit of a rebellious kid. After his mother dies, a girl enters his life. She's more knowledgeable than him, and coincidentally, she's two years older... TWO YEARS. A rebellious young boy who's attached to his mother and has no interest in studying suddenly meets someone two years older than him, someone who introduces him to new things and teaches him a few things about life.

It reminded me of JK saying, "The person who taught me that I should accept certain things rather than run away from them changed my entire life from that day onward." And Jimin's reaction when he read that: "Why is he talking about me?"

For a moment, I put myself in JK's shoes. And I thought that if Jimin were my boyfriend, I would probably notice so many similarities between us and this story while watching this anime.

Then the coincidences kept coming. Lucy introduced David to her group of friends. And guess how many people were in that group? :))

SEVEN!?

And guess who the youngest was?

DAVID!!

And Lucy, who was part of that same group, was two years older than him... DUDE... COME ON!?

But it didn't end there. I kept watching. Lucy took David to her apartment and showed him a projection-like display (BD) above her bed. They explored the surface of the Moon together as if they were actually there, inside that projection.

At that moment, completely independently of being a Jikooker, the only thing that came to mind was the apartment Jimin showed us in 2023. He had a galaxy projected onto the ceiling above his bed. And during that live, he showed us the Sun-Moon system.

If JK had ever lain on that bed, underneath that projection, I'm sure it must have brought something to his mind too...

Later, they watched the Moon through that projection again. Lucy said her biggest dream was to go to the Moon. David promised to take her there.

This DEFINITELY reminded me of Jimin's moment when he said, "Jungkook and I promised each other that we'd go to the Moon."

And immediately after that, Lucy kissed David.

David was more shy and hesitant, while Lucy was more bold and daring. David was 17, Lucy was 19–20...

This reminded me SO MUCH of debut-era Jikook. Jimin suddenly leaning in and reaching for JK's lips in those moments...

Then I thought to myself... Dude, if I were JK and Jimin were my boyfriend, I would DEFINITELY associate this anime with us while watching it, because there are just SO MANY moments that would trigger those memories.

And then I remembered...

JK's profile picture was David, and the highlight cover where he recommended love songs was Lucy.

And during the live he did with Jimin, while Jimin was looking out the window at the sky, JK was looking at Jimin and singing the song associated with David and Lucy...

Jimin is 2 years older than JK. Jimin is the person who changed his life.Jimin's biggest dream is to go to the moon, and Jungkook promised him that it would happen.Lucy shows David great affection after falling in love with him.David won't let a single hair on Lucy's head be harmed.This reminded me of JK, who wouldn't even let Jimin peel garlic, and even when Jimin was using scissors, he'd say, "You'll hurt your hand, should I do it for you?"Lucy's biggest dream is to go to the moon, so she constantly wears moon-themed jewelry and styles. Jimin drew a moon on his fingernails and got a moon tattoo.Jungkook told Jimin, "The Sky-Moon is your department."

DUDE...

If Jikook are real, I think I understand even better why Jungkook has such a special interest in this anime.

If they're not...

Then there are just some things that will NEVER make sense to me.
