Electric is happening! Interested in everything about electric mobility, generation, and storage, for cleaner air and lower carbon emissions/global temperature
@theiphonedoc@Tesla@elonmusk Not planning to buy new one after 4 years. Gonna keep it until it breaks. But if robotaxi becomes reality, then will put it in tesla network to earn $ and use income to buy a new one.
We have a climate CRISIS! curb carbon emissions now or expect worse extreme temperatures! Buy EVs NOW! @tesla@NissanElectric@Hyundai https://t.co/2AFv2AO13b
@hettie_w_small@Broadsword999@QuentinWillson@Tesla Compare total cost of ownership TCO (including gas and maintenance costs) and standard range model3 is not that much more and actually costs less the longer you keep it
Some additional questions came up on Seeking Alpha. Here are the responses :
1. ICE engines :
Yes, for current practical purposes, it would seem that ICE engines have been developed about as far as we can take it within the limits of existing materials and available technology.
“There’s always a lot of critics for $TSLA... that’s actually what we want because we want to make sure our assumptions are correct, we want to battle test them!” No doubts from @TashaARK as we talk worst case assumptions for EV demand and driver-less tech.
@GiadRoger@Teslarati@elonmusk 😂 that’s a lot of activation. But I would take 500+ loud horn blares vs getting my glass window broken. It would be funny as hell also to see the different reactions of people. 😊 Anyway, I believe sentry mode sensitivity could always be adjusted later via ota.
