@OH8STN@M0IAX ...a place. One usage for me would be when I want to run something like wspr or JS8Call over a period of time with band-hopping enabled in order to check out band conditions. Alternatively, it can also sometimes mean packing the most bands into the least amount of gear.
@OH8STN Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Julian, and for noting those points of interest. Looks like they turn feedback around pretty quickly; I wonder if they'll offer any upgrade assistance or discount to beta testers like @M0IAX. You're right about tuners and non-resonant antennas having
@OH8STN I stayed up last night, but bad wx here, and terrible conditions. Didn't have nearly as many stations listed when I got up in the morning as usual. Will definitely keep trying though. This temporary inv L EFHW has been working surprisingly well.
@OH8STN Cool - I wonder if it's the same NC station I seem to often get here between 11:00 - 13:00 UTC...
Just now checked my logs for the above station, and found your callsign in there as well - direct even! Guess I should give it a try. Only using 5-10w here, but could work. :)
Captions play a vital role in accessibility for deaf people, people who have English as a second language, and people viewing content in noisy environments. Netflix needs to step up its game and provide accessibility to all. #CaptionMyNetflix
@netflix why do some of your movies have missing subtitles?
Actors speak for a while, with subtitles. Scene changes, and doesnt have subtles anymore - and then the scene changes again and subtitles return. Infuriating. Affects foriegn shows the most.
Watching without sound.
@InfoSecFriends My Leatherman Squirt ES4 (has wire strippers/cutter) is a very handy little thing. I used to have a number of knives but most are back home, overseas.
