(1/5) I’ve always been a fan of @canlis until tonight. Beginning of Oct, I made a Dec reservation for dinner tomorrow night for 8 people, paid an $800 deposit, and made clear I was bringing two 11-mo old infants as well. On Monday, they called to confirm we were still coming.

(4/5) I cancelled our reservation and requested a refund of the $800 deposit. They said they understood but also had the nerve to say that it wasn’t that they didn’t want us to come, just they didn’t have the space. Since when did infants in laps pose a space restriction???
