The 29-storey tower provides no social homes. This unjustified density and unsympathetic design completely disregards the conservation area (Left photo: Crispin Hughes)

Developer @AnthologyLondon appealed to the Planning Inspectorate to get its proposal approved in #SE11 Lambeth.
We visualised its plans and can confirm the harmful impact of the oversized tower on the nearby homes and heritage assets (Left photo: Crispin Hughes / @BlocksStop)
Southwark Council sent a letter to the @MayorofLondon to notify him of our objection to the removal of public rights of way in #ElephantandCastle. Delancey did not make evident intentions to build a tower with no social homes on public land. Where is the public interest?
Amazing & inspirational citizen-led research at #UncoverAction today @LocalTrust. A lot of interest in our research, mapping & data visualisation with Simon from @elephant_petit & @santuli23 from @LatinElephant

Impressive citizen-led data visualisation from @LatinElephant who collected their own data on rents and floor space from traders in the E&C shopping centre, to secure them better deals. See map here: https://t.co/ylP3yqagd8
#uncoveraction
We surveyed nearly 100 #ElephantandCastle independent businesses.
@lb_southwark published a list of 79.
Why the difference?
Because the Council agreed with #Delancey, @TfL and @UAL on the arbitrary definition of 'independent local operators', excluding at least 17
.@TfL strongly supported a new tube entrance in #ElephantandCastle but it never made public #Delancey was building two residential towers on its land.
They ignored our query on Twitter, so we submitted a FoI request - you can track it here: https://t.co/s8mkfcqtt9
Dear @TfL
Can you please confirm whether you are to receive any consideration from the developer #Delancey in exchange for this land in Elephant and Castle where two residential towers will be built?
Two of the proposed towers by #Delancey in #ElephantandCastle will be sitting on Council-owned freehold land.
Can @lb_southwark confirm before the Judicial Review on 22 Oct whether it is to receive any consideration in exchange for this land?
How is Southwark Council tuning the message about the #ElephantandCastle redevelopment?
Thanks to a new feature @internetarchive, you can now track the changes on the Council's website. April vs May versions in full: https://t.co/n5GpwDt8ME
Wrote about the community-built Elephant and Castle Relocation Map for the @BuildingCentre. It's an interactive map by @santuli23 and @elephant_petit that is tracking the relocation of traders ahead of the shopping centre demolition. https://t.co/UG0s1O3HYr
5 months before the 2014 local elections, @peterjohn6 promised to put the Latin community at the heart of the regeneration plans in ElephantandCastle.
It’s 2019 and South American businesses in Arch 7, Elephant Rd, will be destroyed without compensation
Johanna is the owner of Ivany Store in Arch 7, Elephant Rd. Her shops will be destroyed by #Delancey and she is omitted from Southwark’s relocation list. Can @JohnsonSitu confirm she has access to the relocation fund? (Photo: @samcug@SthLondonPress)
Despite being 97 independent businesses in January, @ShapingElephant aka Delancey's website shows only 42. Of these 42, we've highlighted in red those traders without space or who left with no relocation support. Check it on https://t.co/CNgF9ddUnA #ElephantandCastle
Dear Cllr @steviecryan, your visit to some affected businesses yesterday is appreciated. Did you also find the time to speak with those traders in Arch 7 that your officers excluded from the relocation list?
Most traders wish to remain in #ElephantandCastle.
Why is Delancey @ShapingElephant populating the relocation database with units beyond 1 mile of the Shopping Centre in opposition to what @lb_southwark advises on its website?
This is the list of the 54 relocation spaces offered to Traders in #ElephantandCastle last month. You can see their location on this interactive map: https://t.co/0jOYKjNir7
Key findings:
-Only half of the units offered in the database with rent information are at or below existing rent levels (some rents offered are above £100,000pa)
-Insufficient number of small retail spaces on offer
-Only 14 are in #ElephantandCastle
