Southwark Council sent a letter to the @MayorofLondon to notify him of our objection to the removal of public rights of way in #ElephantandCastle. Delancey did not make evident intentions to build a tower with no social homes on public land. Where is the public interest?

@lb_southwark published a list of 79.

Why the difference?

Because the Council agreed with #Delancey, @TfL and @UAL on the arbitrary definition of 'independent local operators', excluding at least 17

-Only half of the units offered in the database with rent information are at or below existing rent levels (some rents offered are above £100,000pa)
-Insufficient number of small retail spaces on offer
-Only 14 are in #ElephantandCastle
