Two years.
Two years since that black Saturday that split time in two - before, and after.
Two years since the sirens and screams broke the dawn. Since families were hunted in their homes, children burned, women brutalized, parents slaughtered in front of their babies. Since over 1,200 souls were stolen in a single day - the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

Two years since hundreds were dragged into Gaza, alive. Grandmothers. Soldiers. Infants. The world saw it. The world heard their cries. And yet - two years later - many of them are still there.

For Israelis, the pain didn’t fade; it deepened. Empty chairs at Shabbat tables. Voices silenced forever. The smell of smoke and terror still lingers. The survivors carry wounds that will never heal, and a nation carries a scar that the world too easily looks away from.

And worse - much of the world didn’t just look away. It cheered. On campuses, in capital cities, in streets draped with “liberation” slogans - they glorified the killers, celebrated the slaughter, and turned the victims into villains. The moral compass shattered in real time.

October 7th is not just a date. It is a wound in history. A reminder of how fragile life is, and how monstrous hatred can become when the world chooses to doubt, excuse, or forget.

We will not forget. We will not let them be forgotten. 🕯️
