Here are a few things you can do with Artifacts:

🔎 Find artifacts relevant to what you are working on
💡 Access notes from the creator about the story, lessons, and insights
⭐️ Save artifacts and share them with colleagues
🔁 Remix artifacts to create your own version

Artifacts is such a simple but powerful idea I can’t believe we didn’t think of it before. I’ve wasted so much time recreating something thousands of others have already done.

Artifacts can help accelerate a lot of work (like open-source code) by enabling building on each other.

@MayaEaley Having always worked on small design teams embedded in startups, who I am now as a design leader is largely influenced by mistakes I learned from early on in mgmt and emulating what I wanted in a design leader but never had.

Points 1, 2, 5 are how I made the decision to join @reforge as one of the first 10 employees. At the time, after back-to-back roles as founding designer, I was eyeing roles at large, public companies. But I couldn’t ignore the strong signals I uncovered in the interview process.

@jenniesyip A design system is your closet! You pick various items that together solve a problem / serve different conditions - rain, heat, wedding, yard work, etc…

@minarama It’s an interesting exercise. I see it as something I could do and take what I want from it. I’m often overwhelmed by the amount of relationships, communities, and content sources I have and a framework for simplification in service of my values feels helpful.

@lennysan Birthday reminders, yes! Marketplace, why? I’ve used it a bunch to buy and sell and see so much opportunity for improvement. And, it’s gotten worse. I agree with others that Groups is a top 3. Moms groups are the only reason I check FB daily.

@mialoira Coaches with a proven track record as a manager/leader and a coach. It'd also be important to find a coach with experience leading/managing in the same environment as me. In my case, Series A growth stage company. If those 2 criteria were met and my co. funded it, I'd be all in!
