Short Wave Infrared 2 (SWIR2) pixel composite of Iceland.

Landsat SWIR2 band makes water (and ice) appear in dark shades as it absorbs nearly all infrared light. Consequently, perennial ice patches on the north side of mountain ranges add shadows and textures to the image.
